VGN season ticket customers (including Deutschlandticket) and holders of the Bavarian discount ticket and Deutschlandticket NürnbergPass can cycle at a particularly favorable price: After successful registration, 600 free minutes per month are available for free use of VAG_Rad in the NürnbergMOBIL app.

Purchase the Deutschlandticket via the NürnbergMOBIL app:
- Register in the NürnbergMOBIL app
- Buy the Deutschlandticket in the app
- Call up the menu item "VAG_Rad" under "A nach B": Your 600 free minutes per month are automatically displayed here and credited for use.
Purchase the Deutschlandticket via meinabo.de, display the Deutschlandticket in the NürnbergMOBIL app:
- Register in the NürnbergMOBIL app
- Your Deutschlandticket and your free minutes are automatically displayed at the start of your subscription and the free minutes are credited for use.
Purchase of the Deutschlandticket via meinabo.de, display of the Deutschlandticket in the VGN Fahrplan & Tickets app:
- Register in the NürnbergMOBIL app
- Link your Deutschlandticket subscription by entering your 7-digit customer number under "Link subscription/company" in the "VAG_Rad" menu item
- Call up the menu item "VAG_Rad": Your 600 free minutes per month are automatically displayed here and credited for use.
Discount ticket & Germany ticket NürnbergPass
The discount ticket is a fully-fledged Deutschlandticket at a reduced price. Therefore, all students, trainees, volunteers and trainee civil servants in the VGN are entitled to 600 free minutes per month with such a ticket. The discounted Deutschlandticket for Nuremberg Pass holders also entitles them to 600 free minutes per month.
Purchase of the discount ticket/ Deutschlandticket NürnbergPass via the NürnbergMOBIL app or the VGN Timetable & Tickets app
- Register in the respective app
- Select the ticket of your choice for purchase
- You will now be redirected to meinabo.vag.de to order the subscription
- Select the NürnbergMOBIL app (ticket and free minutes in one app) or the VGN Timetable & Tickets app as the issuing medium
- To receive the 600 free minutes, follow the instructions in the second or third column.

Other VGN subscriptions
How to get the VAG_Rad free minutes:
- Register in the NürnbergMOBIL app
- Click on the menu item "A to B" and then on "VAG_Rad" and select "Link subscription/company" -> "Subscription"
- Now select your contract partner and enter the required subscription details for verification
- If the link is successful, the 600 free minutes per month will be displayed in the "VAG_Rad" menu item and credited for use.
Notes on the free minutes
Free minutes can be used for both VAG_Rad and VAG_LastenRad. When using a VAG_Rad, an additional starting fee of 0.10 euros is charged, while a starting fee of two euros per rental is charged when using a VAG_LastenRad.
Your free minutes are only valid for one bike. If you rent a second bike via your account, the regular fees apply for the additional bike.
Once the monthly free minutes have been used up, the regular rate of EUR 0.10 per minute is charged for all further journeys within this month.
Unused free minutes expire at the end of the month.
The monthly credit of free minutes is linked to the duration of the subscription. When a subscription ends, the monthly credit of free minutes included in the subscription also ceases.
