Regular VAG_Rad, E-Bikes, and cargo bikes are available for rental. Please note that E-Bikes must be returned only at official VAG_Rad stations and cargo bikes must be returned only to their designated home station.
REGISTRATION
Registration in the NürnbergMOBIL app is free of charge. As soon as you have entered all your data, you can borrow a VAG_eRad.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR code on the bike with your app. The frame lock opens automatically, and the battery is activated when renting.
PARKING MODE
Do you want to temporarily park your VAG_eRad away from a VAG_Rad station? Simply activate the parking mode in the app and lock the bike.
RETURN
Return the VAG_eRad at an official station. Push the lever on the frame lock down to lock the bike. Returns outside a VAG_Rad station will incur a service fee of €20.

PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during rental? Simply activate the parking mode in the app and then close the lock.
RETURN
Return the cargo bike to its home station, which is printed on the box. Place the bike on its stands and lock the frame lock. Returns made away from the home station will incur a service fee of €50.
Pricing
Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time on one account. The special rate applies only to the first bike.
VAG_Rad: The VAG_Rad must be returned securely either at an official VAG_Rad-station or within the flexzones. Only then is the return free of charge. Returning the bike elsewhere will incur a service fee of at least €20.
VAG_eRad: The VAG_eRad must be returned only at VAG_Rad stations. Returning it elsewhere will incur a service fee of €20.
VAG_LastenRad: The VAG_LastenRad must be returned to its home station to keep the return free of charge. Returning it elsewhere will incur a service fee of €50.
Before returning your bike, make sure to check the VAG_Rad map in the NürnbergMOBIL app to confirm that you are within the flexzone.

When using a regular VAG_Rad, an additional starting fee of €0.10 applies. For a VAG_eRad the starting fee is €1, and for a VAG_LastenRad a starting fee of €2 is charged per rental.
If several bikes are rented at the same time, the free minutes only apply to the bike that was rented first. The basic rate applies for additional bikes.
Unused free minutes expire at the end of the month.
